Toronto Ethiopian Collaborative Presents

The 10th Annual ESAI SUMMIT (Toronto, Canada)

THUR MAR 25, 2010 to SUN MAR 28, 2010

Volunteer Information Sheet

The Role of Volunteers

Volunteers will help plan the summit, greet attendees, assist with registration, act as guides during the summit, staff various activities, and perform other crucial tasks. The success of summit depends heavily on the active support of our volunteers. We are grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, and dedication volunteers bring within this capacity.

Volunteering with the Toronto Ethiopian Collaborative for this summit offers the experience of participating with the execution of this unique annual event bringing together young Ethiopians from across North America. This will undoubtedly prove to be a valuable networking and educational experience for volunteers.

How To Volunteer

TEC expects all volunteers to be professional in their appearance, conduct and dependability. High school students looking to complete volunteer hours are encouraged to apply.

The summit will begin on the evening of Thursday March 25, 2010. Friday March 26 and Saturday March 27 will be all day programming and evening activities. Volunteers will be divided into shifts depending on their availability. We want to make sure volunteers will have downtime to participate in summit for their own leisure also.
