Banner Design Competition

The Ethiopian Students Association International (ESAI) invites you to participate in a banner design competition for the 9th Annual ESAI Summit. This competition is your chance to show your artistic creativity in coming up with a design that encompasses the idea of ESAI and the theme for this year's summit, Zemene Hidassie : Time of Renaissance. This year's summit will be held at the University of Cincinnati from March 26th-29th 2009. The winning design of the competition will be the face of the 9th summit.

Background:

ESAI has been holding an annual summit for the past eight years. The summit is primarily focused on promoting ESAI and its activities. It is also used to accomplish one branch of ESAI's mission: to create a networking environment between Ethiopian students and professionals. The summit brings people from all over the world, mainly North America, and gives them a chance to learn new things and interact with others. It is the biggest of all ESAI events and only such gathering ESAI holds.

Requirements:

• The designer of the banner must be a student.
• The design must include all the necessary information advertising the summit, ie. time, place, theme, etc...
• The design must be of a size that is re-sizable without distortion.

• Major
• Age
• Brief description of what the design means to you and the intended message to the general public
• Source file of your work (png, tiff, or psd formats)
