![]() Cuz we do not have enough fast twitch anaerobic fibers. Hussien, I hope you feel better bro. take care of it. BTW, we had our first meet today and my two millers had a good time running the mile today… one of them ran 5:27 and the other (a sophomore) 5:50. they both had over 20 sec PRs. Zebegna, sorry didn’t get to send ya some workouts…email me all your workouts from last weeks and based on that, I can PM ya some good workouts… make you run 4:30 at least… _________________ Got more patience than an Enetere Driver... |

Cal runner, it's ok man. My coach finally found out that he sucks at coaching distance, and he brought in this other coach. He is real good. So, no need for workouts. Thanks though. Well, I have been running some crapy meets and that's is why i haven't been coming here and writting about them. <Most races, it was just me by myself with no competion and my times were kind of bad. I have been around 10:20-27 in my 2 mile time. My mile time is 4:45-50. today i just came from a meet. My only individual race was the 2 miles and i got 4th place with a time of 10:20. Then i had to do the distance medely and i was the last leg running the 1600 meters. The first guy, who ran the 1200m did not give us a good start. I passed some folks though. Then i did the 800 meters in the sprint medely. I was the last leg in this one also. One of the 200m runner did not give us a good start either and i could not win it. The wind was also very strong and cold. Anyways, Monday - wednesday is County meet. I hope i will do good on that. damn, that's real good. 5:27 for a girl? Some of these boys here be running that here. and 5:50 for a sophomore is also good. I'm sure she will get like the first girl if she keeps it up. peace... |

I hope i will get 4:30 before the season is over. I'm going to run the 3200 on Wednesday. Hopefully, i will get below 10:10. peace, i'm out. |

now where is Husine? oh man I was gone for a long time. . . I am woretegna sometimes...but I promise I will be posting things as the indoor season is coming up. They were fixing the website too. I vented a couple of times in an otherwise ESAi visiting free streak. If you are wondering how the nationals went: not too bad to be honest. I did better than last year hahaha. I placed 63rd out of 279. That is top 22.5% baby. The weather was ofcourse cold and the ground was so muddy. If I show you a picture of myself taken just after the race, you won't stop laughing. Overall I am happy with the result. I believe I will do much better next year. The guy who won the race is a Sudanese guy. He ran the distance in 26 minutes; I ran it in 28 minutes. That is my slowest 8K ever, however as you might have guessed most people had their slowest times in that race. http://www2.wilmington.edu/ncaa-cc/mens-overall.htm I definitely wanna hear from you guys who are running, coaching. and from those who are not... tah tah -Husein _________________ "Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Our indoor season starts soon but our first meet is on January 26. It is going to be at Liberty university in Lynchburg, Virginia. Here is the complete 2007 Track and Field schedule for Methodist University hahaha... we are a university now, ye hear?
http://www.methodist.edu/monarchs/track/2007schedule.htm Hopefully we will make it to Nationals if not as a team as individuals and I will be able to see Indiana. Oh I forgot, when we went to Ohio for nationals my coach takes the wrong road and we ended up where?...in Indiana! So technically I have been there. lol tah tah -Husein _________________ "Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned." Author Unknown |

http://www.ncaasports.com/crosscountry/history/ind_d2 http://www.ncaasports.com/crosscountry/history/ind_d3 I think Simon and Nicodemus are Ethiopians.Simon Bairu - 2004 and 2005 Division I National XC Champion. Nicodemus Naimadu- 2004 and 2005 Division II National XC Champion. The only division an Ethiopian has/had not won is division three. It will be cool if that happens, I amma do my best next year. All the habeshas that are running in division three, I don't have to tell you what to do... Byah! -Husein _________________ "Philosophy is questions that may never be answered.
