Hey I just think of this - the book would leave virgina beach as soon as Genene finish it; he would send it to Aba koster/Empress. When he do that, he would write a brief summry about the book - like what he thinks about it and other things. He would slide the note inside the book and ship it. You guys on the west cost would read the book and read genen's input and add urs too. I hope u guys would manage to find Zeleule - because, I mentioned that book to him long time ago. Then send it to Ephraim - Ephraim would add his review of the book too. I'm thinking the final destination of the book is Amdaezion of Addis Ababa - but I have to talk to him about it first.

I'm glad you digging it Ephraim. It would even be better if we do this in a record braking time. If you are the last person in America who read the book, you gonna have to send me all the letters and brief reviews. Then depending on what I hear from Amde, you would be the one who is going to send the book to him. (in that case the book and the inputs would go to Addis and he just had to send me back the inputs with his own )

Anbessa, what's up dude...didn't know you were running a book club I would be really interested in getting my hands on "Yidres Lebaletariku". Those of you who aren't able to get Amb. Zewdie's recent book on majiw let me know. I know someone who is involved in its distribution. BTW why don't we make copies of Yidres Le baletariku? Unless we are able to buy it and it is readily available it would be a good idea to spread the knowledge if we can't spread the dollars.

Very good one Birhanu!! I think this idea worths its own thread!! why don't you move it somewhere and broaden its scope (it wouldn't hurt to make it sticky, though I don't know what the requirements are for a thread to be sticky, and u might name it 'BOOK TOUR' or something)....I have other three books in mind which I think are very critical and worthy to read!!

We can make sure that ten or more ppl read the book and we can give an overall summary of the books with a brief presentation in the annual esai summit. The thoughts and ideas of each member can be great treasures of ESAi....

I think that will help us all to understand the history and politics of our country better! It is an idea that worths millions!!!

I dig the idea too.....with a plough.

BTW, u ppl writing aba kostir slash me, just know that we r 300 miles away from eachother and we also need a two ppl's time to read...lol. And Genene, make sure u mail the book to me first.

And u've all gotten me all excited about the book now.

^^^Genene, in fact since aba + empress are fighting over this book, why don't you send it to me first while they do their eta-eta and i'll gladly send it to whom ever wins the eta-eta. I think thats what you should do if they don't come to an agreement, I know bre. will support this idea.

I didn't see any fight here! ofcourse she can have the book first b/c she asked first and this is America; ladies first, and u can have it after her and mail it to me. This won't be a problem I have two books that I have already started, it won't hurt any more than giving me more time to finish what I have already started!

but if we are going to broaden the scope of this thread, everybody will have a book to read at his desk! I am willing to send two or three books for ppl that are interested, but that is only if we are going to have an organised ESAin network to facilitate the process!!

Good Riddens !!!!!!!! you guys saw that - Tsilule wrote something on general discussion thread lowd hab mercy. Ya, Aba koster is looking for that Ambassador Zewedie's book.

Aba koster, you brought a good idea - this thread will be a sticky one. I just have to go over the guidlines with Markos and .mike on what are the creterias for a thread to deserve a stickey status. Sure during the summit time, those of us who participated in this book floating around project would go to our little corner and discuss about them.

Yes I think the book direction is going to be toward Tennesie for now, then it would come to you guys. Ephraim - u better not mess things around because you would be facing the wrath of 3 esains from the west coast. You have already seen what Empress said when Genene jokes about loosing the book
Quote:
well, don loose it....unless u just wanna get up and mysteriously disappear one night.
who in their right mind would try to taste that anger. Me don't know.

Aba Koster, you must be a gentleman for spitting that ladies first stuff. I was gonna tell her you would get it whenever you get it. Get it ??!!

Amde, yes I have checked the email. We would talk.
