Ethiopians Reject Meles Zenawi’s Traitorous Regime!
Join us on May 13 in Washington DC

Ethiopians will hold a massive protest demonstration in Washington DC, on May
13, 2002. The demonstration will start in front of the U.S. Congress at 9 AM
next Monday.

Thousands of Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia from the Washington, DC area,
as well as from as far away as Los Angeles, San Francisco Seattle, Denver,
Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, New York and other cities in North
America are expected to come to Washington, DC to participate in the May 13
demonstration.

In a strong show of unity, all of the major Ethiopian political, civic
organizations, Prominent persons, as well as short wave and local radio
programs have come together to organize the May 13 demonstration, which will
demand the removal of Meles Zenawi's regime for failing to defend Ethiopia's
vital national interests.

The demonstration organizing committee--the Worldwide Demonstrations
Coordinating Committee for the Defense of Ethiopian National Interest and
Security--calls on every patriotic Ethiopian in the Washington, DC and in
North America to participate in the demonstration. A large turn out will
surely send a clear message to the dictatorial regime Meles Zenawi as well
as to its foreign supporters. It is only by making our presence felt with a
unified voice and a turn out by the thousands that the U.S. Government can
heed the repeated demand by the Ethiopian people to stop supporting the hated
and rejected dictatorship.

We call on those who cannot participate to contact and urge their friends,
relatives, and family members to join us and strengthen the voice of the
unified opposition to the Melees regime in the May 13 demonstration.
