A number of Ethiopian refugee students who fled to Kenya from their country last year, have been admitted into a Kenyan University for studies.

Thirty eight of them were yesterday confirmed to have been admitted to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

Those admitted are expected to join the university in the next semester which starts in two weeks time, on May 5, 2002. An official with the Refugee Consortium of Kenya, Nabila Alibhai yesterday announced the admission of the refugee students into the Kenyan University
