I missed the opening game; I only saw the highlights. Have you seen the crowed? that huge support is certainly going to push the team one step ahead.

As for the predication: I'm going to setup a poll so that others can have their say, too.

I can't wait for today's spectacular clash(in about 1 hr time) - Nigeria vs. Côte d'Ivoire - The Super Eagles vs. The Elephants

didn't see any of the matches either. surprised to hear that ghana didn't impress during the opening match. i guess the absence of their great midfielder, stephen appiah, has something to do with their unconvincing display.

super eagles have some work don't they after losing to ivory coast? they have a tough group with mali also being a strong team. i predict that mali and ivory coast advance from their group and ivory coast winning the tournament.

Appiah's absence is not only felt in Ghana's squad but also in Fenerbahçe. There's no doubt that he will be a great lose to the black stars.

To be honest, Mali didn't impress at all with their first game performance despite winning. Yes, for the super eagles the next game is a must-win.

Anybody watching the Cameroon vs. Egypt match? Egypt 3 - Cameroon 0, first-half score...boy, the Indomitable Lions are in trouble.

Yea, the game was pretty sad. I am glad to say that we got satellite and I can watch the games and even ETV I'm hoping that my vcr is recording the two games today (I'll be highly upset if not)

Indeed, he did. He was the only indomitable lion today; the rest were simply absent. I hope they can recover, they must. 4-2 Egypt, who would have thought?!

4-2....certainly not me. i was sad to see the score line but at least Eto'o showed some heart. luckly the group is not that strong besides Cameroon and Egypt. So hopefully, Cameroon can take care of business for the remainder of the group play.

tomorrow:
senegal vs. tunisia....potential for a good match
south africa vs. Angola...future hosts of 2010 World Cup, SA, have a date with the Black Antelopes of Angola.

Good News!

Watch the Nations Cup on your PC

All you need to do is download, install SopCast.

note:
make sure to close Internet Explorer/Firefox when installing SopCast.

When you are done doing that, check this place; I'll post links for every game I can get, right before it kicks off.

Tunisia vs Senegal - Watch Here! or Here!

South Africa vs Angola - Watch Here! or Here!

Enjoy!
