Ah. As in putting the guy in prison for life if he was alive? (I am purposely avoiding death penalty.)

One more question to everybody: what makes this guy different from our regular day to day murderers?

i think social justice is to be strived for and so i believe in it but i think it's a rarity most of the time - individual justice tends to overrule social justice and individual justice is selfish and so sometimes societies lose out on some individual getting his or hers...

if he was alive, i would REALLY like to know what he went through to get to this point - and i'd base my future feelings about him based on what he says/does --- right now it's a lot of speculation as to why he snapped which might make it a little bit more... oh i don't know... softer on him dead than alive... but his parents and his sister menamen yasazenalu and for their sake i'm glad they acknowledged that he died too

how's he different from regular day to day murderer?

well he just killed a LOT more people than regular day to day murderers do - most people i think murder 1 person - (i don't know why i think that) - when it's 32, they're serial killers (which are special) - soldiers (who are mandated killers) - or gangsta/mobsters (who are scary pack of wild crazy killers)

Yasteseriyal, I agree with most of your ideas. Could you, however explain me what you mean(t) by
That is the exact reason why we should treat the VT tragedy or other tragedies that are so close to home as a special priority

For most of us who live in the US, VT tragedy is not some school shooting somewhere in Russia (as Red mentioned it as an equivalent tragic event) or some school suicidal bombing in the Middle East? It is close...I am not a VT student, but I know ESAI has members who go to school there. In addition, I have friends who go there. I have thought going there myself one time. Doesn't that make it so close to home to ESAI and me?

Let me ask a question now. Why were you obviously bothered by the phrase though?

among the VA Tech victims? Does anyone know if it is true?

i think we should address - send something soon - regarding the vatech situation and story and clear this confusion about the two ethiopian men that were picturered....

and say condolences and what not

just so it doesn't get forgotten...the whole saying something bit

The condolecense message is coming up soon, and I think someone can just send the person the official list of the victims put out by VT. I am not sure what the link was.

It's the Ethiopian Reporter who came up with the story and the two pictures.

They've now corrected it.

I mean how are they going to report a news like that without confirming its truth? I mean nothing happened to the two guys mentioned but both of them do go here.

How in the world did it came out as a news??? I don't even think they were near the scene when this happened.
