ere benatachehu atasaferugn!

only 32 signatures in 24 hours.

I'm getting more response out of facebook than ESAi!

esti gobez! esti jegna! esti fetagn!

honestly, if there are any problems, PLEASE let me know immediately.

for those of you who have already signed, beTam n'ew yemiwedachihu!

spread the word! my uncle is up to bat next, and he will be counting on this petition for the role he is going to play in the battle against Ethiopia's self-descrimination syndrome!

on my end, this is just a stepping stone so that I can request action by the Addis Abeba Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Justice to elevate penalties for Ethiopian companies that discriminate against customers (particularly ETHIOPIAN customers). I will also include security and police forces in this request for reform.

thank you friends! let me know if you want to join the BDP Council for Ethiopian Equality

There is a petition to the City Council of Barcelona (Spain) saying to save the lives of 500 cats.....

....the petition has reached over 1,000 signatures

....the petition was only created this month.

Please.....let's get better mobility than the animal rights activists. We are fighting for our dignity in our own country. The whole world will have access to see this. Don't lose focus.

...also, this is a public discussion forum...Zim atbelu! tenageru!

Let me know who you can send this information out to. When you sign the petition, pledge to find one more person to sign the petition. We aren't asking only Ethiopians to sign this. This is for everybody that respects the name of our country. This is for everybody that condemns the act of discrimination. Let's get it!

Hey Nahom,

I really appreciate your and your family's dedication.

...

Please be cautious that people won't make the issue political.

FYI: I just forwarded the petition to a couple of friends.

Thanks Alex....I think it is really appropriate to say every "vote" counts!

...now, when you mentioned "Please be cautious that people won't make the issue political." ...what should I look out for or change in order to keep people from taking things politically?...I don't think I understand.

update: we have 101 signatures now.

special request: since there are still many, many people without a computer or without internet access...can you simply ask friends, family, church-goers, etc. if they endorse the demands of the petition?

Here's what you can do...
1. print out the page with the demands,

2. then have people sign the back of the page if they endorse it.
(of course, have the full petition with you so people can read the whole thing to be sure if they want to endorse the petition.)

3. Next time you are sitting in front of the computer, just sign them up on the petition.

Let me know if you do this and how it works out.

a couple updates....

we have 212 signatures now

I am going to make a You Tube video to explain why I am serving on the Bahir Dar Passengers Council for Ethiopian Equality and why I have become so passionate about this issue.

right now it looks like EAL is only going to worry about people from Texas because we have the petition painted with our signatures....esti, let's get some real representation from Ethiopians in other states and all our Ethiopians internationally (in Europe, Canada, etc). For those of you who have already signed from other states and countries...good job

If there are still any reservations that any of you have, please bring them up....I will HAPPILY explain

...and if you think we don't have a problem on our hands, then I will prove it to you ....

All the Ethiopians in the World or Alan Quartermain on General Hospital?

You make the call!

Petition for Alan Quartermain

VS.

Petition for All Ethiopians
